As such, no other brand of on-board camera may be mounted to motorcycles for use on the race track or in the paddock during an AMA Pro Road Racing event. “¢ GoPro will offer exclusive pricing to current-season AMA Pro Road Racing hardcard holders. Please email [email protected] with your name and AMA Pro Road Racing license number (located on the back of your hardcard) for ordering information. “¢ As in the past, an On-Track Camera Use Authorization form must be filled out and filed at AMA Pro Tech on a per-event basis for all teams, riders and entrants using a GoPro camera on their machines during an AMA Pro Road Racing event. There is no charge for this and the form outlines the stipulations and restrictions associated with creating and using video footage filmed on track or in the paddock during an AMA Pro Road Racing event weekend. “¢ GoPro and AMA Pro Racing racing may assign (up to) six (6) competitor motorcycles per class per weekend to mount and utilize a GoPro camera for promotional footage purposes. This will be conducted per regulation 3.21.b of the 2012 AMA Pro Racing Road Racing rulebook.
