WERA and CCS competitor Brandon Cretu will return to compete at the world-renowned Isle of Man TT for the third time this season. He has plans in place to compete in all three liter bike classes: Superstock, Superbike, and Senior. The type of machinery has not yet been determined, but Brandon is keen for his chance at riding in the big bike classes for 2012. Along with this effort he is also looking to gather enough support to run a 600cc machine in both Supersport races to further improve upon his lap times from last year’s results in those races. RevZilla.com comes on board for 2012 as the current sole title sponsor of Brandon’s TT campaign.

“2012 will be an important year for me in many ways at the TT,” said Brandon. “As my first year on a 1000cc motorbike at the event I am keen to put on a good performance but also know that I need to keep my head on and be safe since it will be a bit different experience! I am eager to keep improving though and feel I have it in me to break the 120mph barrier this year.”

During 2011, Brandon was the fastest American on a 600 and upped his lap time to 116.7 mph on a stock Yamaha YZF-R6.

“My program is coming together slowly but surely for the TT this year. RevZilla.com coming on board as a title sponsor has made a huge impact on my efforts and set a solid foundation to ensure I will be able to return this year. I cannot thank them enough for joining with me and am looking forward to working with them this year and hopefully for years to come! I am still working on some other interesting deals which I hope to announce in the coming weeks which will further help me with my plans for the this year’s TT,” says Brandon.

For those unfamiliar with the TT races, it is considered the ultimate test of man and motorcycle. Held once a year on the Isle of Man, a small island resting in between England and Ireland, it regularly attracts thousands of spectators from all over the world to partake in the festival and watch the amazing races. The course is over 37 miles long and snakes across the entire island’s public roads which are shutdown for the races to take place. The 2012 TT starts on May 26 and lasts until June 9. 2012 will ensure to be a big year at the TT with a new Supertwins event being introduced as well as many new teams and manufacturers coming to the event!

Brandon would like to thank all of his amazing sponsors who have signed up for another successful year at the Isle of Man TT. If you or your company are interested in joining his 2012 TT effort please visit his website at www.brandoncreturacing.com or email him at [email protected].
