M1 PowerSports Tours Big Kahuna Venues as Part of Pre-Season Preparation for the 2012 Big Kahuna Triple Crown DENVER, Colo. (February 7, 2012) – In preparation for the 2012 Big Kahuna Triple Crown, M1 PowerSports recently visited each of the three tracks where Big Kahuna events will be held to consult with series and track representatives, research local businesses and meet with members from local motorcycle clubs. As part of their mission to “Get People to the Track,” M1 PowerSports plans to use the knowledge gained on the trip to enhance the fan experience through expanded event pages on M1PowerSports.com detailing local businesses and to involve and embrace local motorcycle clubs through incentives, special offers and at-track experiences like special bike corral areas for participating clubs. “It is refreshing to see the motorcycle community support the Big Kahuna events this much,” said I-San Hung, President of M1 PowerSports. “The turnout for our meeting with the motorcycle clubs was great. It was exciting to see the clubs so enthusiastic and get their comments and thoughts on how to make the event even better. M1 wants to give the clubs a destination at the Big Kahuna and will make them feel at home.” The whirlwind tour of the Southeastern United States included visits to the AMA Pro Road Racing headquarters in Daytona Beach, Fla., followed by a 330 mile drive south to Homestead-Miami Speedway, the site of the Big Kahuna Miami (September 21 – 23, 2012), and then a short flight to NOLA Motorsports Park, where the AMA Pro Road Racing series will conclude the 2012 season with the Big Kahuna New Orleans (October 5 – 7, 2012). M1 PowerSports then returned to Road Atlanta to finish their trip where the Big Kahuna began, where they met with the local motorcycle clubs and Historic Moto Grand Prix President Bill Brown. The historic circuit, located just outside of Atlanta in Braselton, Ga., will play host when the Big Kahuna returns for the Big Kahuna Atlanta (April 20 – 22, 2012). “I’m amazed at the response of past champions that will be attending the Big Kahuna Atlanta and are planning to ride with the Historic Moto Grand Prix,” said Brown. “The Historic Moto Grand Prix has just launched a new website at www.hmgpracing.com; if you have a vintage race or show bike in your garage, check out the website and sign up to meet and ride with past champions at Road Atlanta during this year’s Big Kahuna Atlanta.” Ticket packages for each round of this year’s Big Kahuna Triple Crown are available now at M1PowerSports.com. With single-day tickets beginning at just $20 and the three days of thrilling AMA Pro Road Racing action combined with the entertainment spectacle that only M1 PowerSports can deliver, fans can get an unbelievable value that doesn’t break the bank. For fans that simply can’t get enough, the three-event Big Kahuna Triple Crown Pass includes three-day admission to all three Big Kahuna events, VIP parking, paddock access, official event programs and a special Big Kahuna souvenir from each round. Details about these ticket packages can be found on the Big Kahuna event pages, which will be updated soon to include additional sections intended to inform fans about local hotels and restaurants as well as track-specific policies and procedures. Originally spawned from Daniels Corporation under the name FAST, the fledgling company was heavily involved in television production for car and motorcycle racing. With the birth of Speedvision, FAST morphed into Race Promotion Management (RPM) and is now operating as M1 PowerSports with many of the same staff still in place.
