New, hand signed Nicky Hayden Arai Helmet to be auctioned in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. AMA Daytona Sport Bike rider Shaun Summers is in another kind of race! That race is to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation in his mothers name. Shaun’s mom, Linda Summers, has been in a battle that began earlier this year when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. “My mom has been undergoing daily treatment and it has been really hard on her, especially the chemotherapy. She has been so sick, but she is fighter and I know she will win” says Shaun. Wanting to “pay it forward”, Summers is raising money for the NBCF. “Arai Helmets were nice enough to donate a helmet to my fundraiser. Bruce Porter, Director of Professional Motor Sports Promotion and Product Education was kind enough to meet with Nicky and have him hand sign the helmet. We have listed the helmet on eBay, so all of you Nicky Hayden fans go check it out! This would make a great New Year’s present for a Nicky fan.” Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. in Linda Summers name.
