The agreement was reached and the Executive Board of Team WTR Ten 10 Racing announced that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R will be ridden by the Frenchman Jules Cluzel. Both from the world championship, the partnership is intended to get great results right away. Cluzel, with extensive experience in major championships will tackle the WSS Championship aspiring for the highest goals. Jules Cluzel was born in Montluçon France on October 12, 1988. He made his debut in the Championship Class 125 in 2005. In 2006, he changed to Class 250 running in tandem with Sylvain Guintoli. In 2008 he returned in the Class 125 paired with Alexis Masbou and during this year an injury stopped him for a few races. In 2009, again in Class 250, he earned a second place finish in Qatar and 12th overall in the season but had to miss a race due to an injury. In 2010, he moved to Suter Racing to drive in Moto2 class and his teammate was Claudio Corti. He got his first victory in Great Britain and a third place finish in Qatar and finally finished in 7th place in the season with 106 points. In 2011, he remained in the same team, this time with teammate Alex Baldolini. He got his best result, a fourth place in Great Britain and ended the season at position 21 with 41 points. Jules Cluzel, said: “They are very motivated! And I’m sure I will take this new experience to the best of my ability. I really like the idea of participating in the World Super Sport. My goal is to gain points and I am happy to do it with WTR Ten10 because I feel very motivated too. In the past I have tasted victory in a Grand Prix and it was beautiful, I want to try to win a world title! I want to try new experiences. Now I have to concentrate to get to the best of my condition at first because I’ve never driven this bike, I will have to quickly adapt my driving style. I am aware of some mistakes made in the past season and I can say that makes me perfect. A good bag for 2012!”
