GET READY, GET SET GO! The 2012 WERA Motorcycle Roadracing season starts this coming weekend with a WERA West Sportsman Series presented by Lucas Oil at AutoClub Speedway in Fontana, CA. Saturday will have Fastrack Riders offering racer practice, WERA will have Registration on Saturday the 7th from 3:00 5:00pm and then Sunday the riders of WERA West will take to the track to start the 2012 Season. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing invites any West Coast Novices who have a license with any of the other motorcycle Roadracing organizations to come out and try a WERA event for a $30.00 weekend license there will also be a WERA New Rider’s School on Saturday, January 7th in conjunction with Fastrack Riders taught by WERA’s Instructor Matthias Jezek. The line up for this opener looks great and the competition should be fierce. Credentials for Sunday are only $10.00 come on out and enjoy a great day of racing in California! On January 29th WERA will hold a special one off event at Talladega Gran Prix in Talladega, AL there will be practice and then three solo races will end the day. Registration is by fax or at the track Practice is $100.00 and Solo races will be $50.00 each. This is offered as a warm up for the 2012 WERA Season and we look forward to seeing everyone who comes out to shake off the cob webs from the off season.
