FIRST PERSON/OPINION: Via e-mail: A few months ago, a friend of mine for almost 20 years asked me to donate something to do with my racing for a benefit ride for his 4 year old son with cancer. I said,”Sure!” He asked me in the middle of the season when I was slammed. The benefit ride came and went. A couple weeks after the ride, I realized I had missed out on being a part of Teagan’s ride. It weighed on me for a month or so as I tried to figure out what I could do to make it up to the Griffin family. This is what I decided to do. The list is growing every day. I just want to make a difference in a kids life this Christmas. A kid that’s already gone through a struggle that most adults never have to deal with.
