HARRIS ON A HIGH AT JEREZ MOTO2 FINALE Harris Moto2 machines filled three of the top six places at the final round of the CE Buckler Spanish Moto2 Championship at Jerez last weekend. British rider Dan Linfoot took the Team Wilmax Harris to a strong third place, just over a second behind winner Lucas Mahais and second placed Kevin Coghlan, with Isaac Vinales taking fourth spot on the Promo Racing Harris and team mate Mathew Scholtz taking sixth. “This is a strong finish to the season for us,” said Harris Racing director Lester Harris. “We have been working hard with the Wilmax Team this year, developing some new ideas with a view to a serious assault on the championship in 2012. “The Wilmax team is a brand-new outfit and from a totally clean sheet at the start of the season they have developed into a serious contender at the later rounds. This is a real credit to the dedication and enthusiasm of the team management and the team members, who have all worked so well with us in developing the 2012 Moto2 machine. “We will be providing a full paddock service and technical support to Team Wilmax and the other teams who are moving to our chassis in 2012, and we are hoping to take in some wild card entries in the World Moto2 series when it comes to Europe.” For further information visit www.harris-performance.com or call 01992 532500.
