Friday morning’s qualifying session for the City of Dreams Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix in China has been postponed due to rain. This follows a qualifying session on Thursday being cancelled due to rain. Motorcycles do not go out on Macau’s Guia street circuit when it is wet, but the four-wheel racing events are continuing as scheduled. A 30-minute pre-race warm-up session originally scheduled for Saturday morning, November 19 has been extended to 45 minutes and classified a qualifying session. The 15-lap race is still scheduled to run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. local time on Saturday. The Weather Channel’s forecast for Saturday calls for a 60% chance for scattered rain showers.
