The Zero DS will provide them with an insight into the huge benefits of electric vehicles, including noise reduction, particularly relevant in pedestrian areas, reduced running costs as there is minimal servicing and maintenance costs associated with electric vehicles, and obviously lower fuel costs.” Zero Motorcycles are currently being used by law enforcement agencies in Scotts Valley, Calif., Santa Cruz, Calif., the City of Pointe-Claire and by the New Mexico Fish and Wildlife Service, where Zeros are utilized daily by the police department and security divisions to assist with local patrols and traffic enforcement.
