Dane Westby and Crew Chief Chuck Giacchetto started working together for the 2009 racing season, after Westby showed promise on a clapped-out racebike he borrowed from Giacchetto during a WERA event in 2008. Westby took second place in the 2010 AMA Pro Daytona 200 with the now-defunct Project 1 Atlanta team, but a win in the ultra-competitive AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class eluded Westby until he and Giacchetto hooked up with M4 Suzuki for 2011. The big breakthrough victory came at Mid-Ohio this season and was a huge boost for Westby, who came close to scoring another couple of wins before the year ended. Westby and Giacchetto will both be back in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike with the M4 team in 2012. Be sure to check out other Roadracing World feature videos.
