ONE WEEK FROM TODAY THE 39TH WERA GNF WILL BEGIN! Next Thursday, October 27th, the 39th WERA Grand National Finals will begin with Vintage Racing and Practice, then Friday the final round of the WERA National Endurance Series will take over the track for four hours of Endurance Racing, after the Endurance we will have some make-up races from Barber in September and then two Championship Sportsman Finals. Saturday the riders of the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series will take over and then on Sunday the Michelin/WERA National Challenge Riders will compete. Saturday and Sunday fans will have lots to see with demonstrations on the skid pad put on by the CAMMRA and visit the Performance Displays on the hill above turn 10. Sunday during quiet time Josh Borne will bring his Freestyle Stunt Show to the Turn 7 area for everyone’s entertainment. Also on Sunday there will be a ride around Road Atlanta for anyone who comes out with a motorcycle a donation of $5.00 for the laps (2-3 depending on time) will be donated to The Red Flag Fund which is a Fund that helps injured riders. Saturday night there will be Trick or Treats for the children in the paddock followed by a party for the adults in the chalet in the Scoring/Timing side of the paddock. Camping is available and tickets will be available at the gate!
