A couple of updates for the final round of the California State Championship presented by Dunlop held this coming weekend, September 17-18, 2011, at Willow Springs International Raceway: Guardian Commercial Realty, the class sponsor for Open Twins has generously sponsored the awards banquet as well. The banquet will take place after the races on Sunday, at approximately 5 pm, and will include a full barbeque dinner catered at the track. Class champion trophies, along with all the prizes for the classes, and the crowning of the overall State Champions will be presented at the banquet. Rich Oliver will be on hand Sunday for some guest race commentary, and also handing out awards at the banquet as well. Post-entry is available for the Tag-Team Race on Saturday, and the races on Sunday. There is also a half-day of practice available on Saturday afternoon.
