Maverick VIÑALES, Spain (APRILIA), 1:44.351 More, from a press release issued by Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team: VIÑALES QUALIFIED ON THE FOURTH ROW AND GADEA ON THE FIFTH. THE BLUSENS BY PARIS HILTON RACING TEAM RIDERS FOCUSING ON TOMORROW’S RACE Misano, 3 September 2011. It was not a great qualifying practice for the Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing team riders. Neither Maverick Viñales nor Sergio Gadea managed to qualify on the first three rows of tomorrow’s starting grid. Viñales’s tenth and Gadea’s thirteenth positions contrast with the excellent result they achieved at the previous GP in Indianapolis where they respectively finished the race second and fourth. However their motivation before the race has remained the same and both Viñales and Gadea are already planning to make a good start and battle their way up to the lead. At the end of the day what matters most is the position achieved at the race and the points it awards and it would not be the first time that good results would be achieved at the race whereas the qualifying positions could be better. 25 MAVERICK VIÑALES (10º 1.44.351 +1.104): “I didn’t manage to get myself a good qualifying position but I am motivated anyway. We scored great times throughout the free training practices and we worked on setting the bike up but the qualifying practice wasn’t the one we expected. The change in the temperature and the traffic definitely had their influence on what happened. Also I have to improve a few “thingies” to do better. Duringthe warm-up tomorrow we’ll be looking for the most appropriate way to set the bike up so we can get properly ready for the race. Even though we didn’t get good results at the qualifying practice we really hope to do good at the race”. 33 SERGIO GADEA (13º 1.44.740 +1.493): “We haven’t had any particular problem. The bike was doing all right and I was sure to get myself a good qualifying position. Perhaps we were not able to see through the change in the temperature. All I know is we didn’t manage to score the time we expected. But in spite of that I am motivated. Tomorrow we’ll make a few trials at the warm-up and I am sure we’ll be doing good at the race. I’ll give everything I can to make it, no doubt about it”.
