New Southern California Race Track Inks Deal with Funding Partner Palm Springs, CA August 2011 – Thermal Motorsports Track & Club has announced a new partnership with the Tim Rogers family of Palos Verdes, California. Tim and Twanna Rogers along with son, John, have acquired majority stake in the luxury, member-only racing facility to be located just 5 minutes east of La Quinta in the Palm Springs, CA resort area. “We are thrilled to be able to partner on such an exciting project. The need for a facility like this in Southern California is long overdue since the closing of Riverside in the late 80’s. The facility received unanimous planning commission approval in June and is scheduled to start clearing the property for grading this month, with completion of the track later this year.
