One Team Fielding Special Motorcycle In This Coming Weekend’s WERA National Endurance Race At Summit Point

Summit Point, West Virginia, Roger Lyle’s Motorcycle Xcitement Racing Team would like to welcome everyone to the WERA National 6 Hour Endurance race at Summit Point Raceway in wild and wonderful West Virginia on Saturday, July 30. Our talented team of road racers includes coaches Cassidy Heiser, Gary Yancoskie, Dylan Scott, and Dustin Watson racing the bike around the legendary 2 miles of Summit Point Raceway! The Motorcycle Xcitement Racing Team will be racing the #49 Al Wilcox Tribute Bike SV 650 in the lightweight class. Al Wilcox was our hero and official starter who passed away February 3, 2011 at 92 years old. Al had been going to the races and race tracks for 70 years of his life! He raced for 19 years, four of those years for the Harley-Davidson factory. Al Wilcox went to the starting line over 3,000 times at more than 360 tracks in the USA and Canada. Al was a race starter for 52 years and flagged thousands of racers from novice to world champion. Al Wilcox dedicated 70 years of his life to motorcycle racing and racers. We honor his lifetime contribution in this racing team and everything we do. Thank you Al, for being there for us!
