Danny Kent, Great Britain (Aprilia), 1:28.626 More, from a press release issued by Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team: THIRD POLE POSITION THIS SEASON FOR MAVERICK VIÑALES. SERGIO GADEA WILL START FROM THE FIFTH POSITION IN SPITE OF A TECHNICAL ISSUE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE QUALIFYING PRACTICE Sachsenring, 16 July 2011. Maverick Viñales has been impressive once again today as he has reached his third pole position so far this season in only nine races. On a sunny day (even though rain is expected tomorrow) the Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing team rider has shown he holds a fantastic pace which makes him one of the favourites for Sunday’s race. On the contrary his team-mate Sergio Gadea has experienced a technical issue at the beginning of the Qualifying Practice which has prevented him from carrying out what he had planned to do. However he has managed to reach the fifth position at the last moment which will enable him to start from the second row of the grid tomorrow. 25 MAVERICK VIÑALES (1º, 1.27.477): “To get a new pole position is fantastic of course but I am especially glad because we have got an amazing pace which can be of great help for us to reach the podium. Anyway this circuit is very short and loopy and it will be very difficult to make an escape. As usual the rivals will be very eager and we will have to give everything we can to get the chance to win. The bike has been working fine since the very beginning and it has made things much easier to earn this pole which I dedicate to Joan Xufre and his entire family with all my love.” 33 SERGIO GADEA (5º, 1.28.067, +0.590): “We have had a good weekend during the free practices. However as soon as the Qualify Practice begun I experienced some rear suspension issue which has conditioned the result. The team worked fast and I managed to get back out on the track to ride the last minutes and try to post a good time but things didn’t go as I had expected. Perhaps I put too much pressure on myself in order to make it and at the end of the day it hasn’t helped. Maverick posted a fantastic time and tomorrow will be a difficult race and I will try my very best until the last lap. Even if I didn’t manage to offer him the result I wanted I’d like to send all my love to Joan Xufre’s family. “
