AMA Pro Racer David Anthony Having Back Surgery Today

AMA Pro racer and Fly Racing/ADR Team Owner “Aussie Dave” Anthony is having surgery today at Inland Valley Hospital, in Murrieta, California, to fix a herniated disc in his back. “He’s had some pretty bad back pain for a while now,” Anthony’s wife Crystal told Roadracingworld.com Wednesday. “The doctors told him if it got worse to come into the ER [Emergency Room], and today he was feeling really bad and had some numbness down his leg. I’ve never seen him in so much pain. So we went to the ER, and they are taking him in for surgery today.” David Anthony will definitely miss the next AMA Pro round July 22-24 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, said Crystal Anthony, “but other than that we’ll just have to wait and see.”
