With a rider change, but no change in objective for Team Go Eleven, which aims to join the elite teams participating in international Superstock 600 and 1000 championships. To be able to gain important results, team manager Denis Sacchetti and team owner Gianni Ramello have chosen one of the most promising youngsters on the international scene: Danny Buchan, currently second in the British STK 1000 championship. The rider from Essex, near London, will have a good knowledge of the bike which he already competes on, but will try to quickly adapt to the working methods and the circuits of the Superstock FIM World Cup. With his arrival, the team plans to return to battle for top positions as early as the next round of the championship, to be held in less than two weeks in Brno. Danny Buchan will race in the FIM Superstock 1000cc class alongside the World Superbike series but with a continued to try and win the UK National Superstock Championship for MSS Colchester Kawasaki and Team Green. The opportunity has come at a staggering speed for Danny after his first foray with Team Green and MSS Colchester Kawasaki in Superstock 600 last year and a dream debut in the Superstock 1000cc class with an opening win, just a few months ago. Danny Buchan- rider- “It’s a really exciting opportunity to learn new tracks, work with a foreign crew and be part of the World Superbike series. It will be interesting to see how well we can do as I don’t want to go there and just wally around at the back. Obviously they are new tracks but with Playstation, You Tube and a bit of determination, we should get the hang of it! Massive thanks to Nick for allowing me to do this hopefully I can do the squad and Team Green proud.” Nick Morgan Team owner MSS Colchester Kawasaki “Danny is a talented lad and it’s flattering to all concerned that he’s been picked to ride in a WSB class so soon. Doing well is a double edged sword as that’s obviously what we’re here for but your riders then get noticed and potentially poached! The good news is its all part of the Kawasaki family and Danny will still be concentrating on the Superstock series over here in the UK.” Gianni Ramello team owner Go Eleven “I’m proud and very happy to announce that Danny Buchan will be part of our line up for this second part of the season. We are an ambitious team, and we do our best to take important results, hopefully take the first Kawasaki ZX10R’11 podium. I also want to say thanks to Nick Morgan owner of MSS Colchester Kawasaki to permit Danny to take part in FIM STK 1000 with my team . I think that this experience will be useful also for the second part of the British championship.”
