Go Eleven team, in behalf of Gianni Ramello and team manager Denis Sacchetti give notice of the breach between the team and the rider Nicolo’ Canepa. Go Eleven team’s regretful, as seen the good results after the race in Misano, that let the rider to fight for the podium and to gain a sixth place on general ranking. This was a project the team, eventhough with an absolutely brand-new bike, was really confident about. But seen the rider’s request willing to accept a more adaptable offer closer to his pains and aims, the ownership agreed to grant the terminate of contract without any further liability. The team is gratetful to the rider for the great job done. In Aragon the italian rider is replaced by the spaniard Pere Tutusaus. Gianni Ramello – team owner – “I’m not glad about this situation. We set a project and an important investment on Canepa, trying to develop the new Kawasaki ZX10R. But on the other hand, I really couldn’t force to stop this guy that’s appealed by another opportunity which better suits him. I’m sure he’s got talent and he’ll be back on top soon. And I’m even more convinced that great outcomes could have been achieved with the Kawasaki. Maybe it could’ve taken more time but this is my philosophy and the whole team’s. Now we just want to play fair without any drama.” Niccolo’ Canepa – “I’d like to thank the owners and the whole team for this beginning of season. They’ve all be kind to me and never stood in my way acting more than fairly in front of my request. I came back in Superstock to win since the first race but despite the great job done by the team, takes some more time to the bike to be at the top. So, I just felt right for my career to embrace a different offer where I’ll get a yet-proven and well-tested bike.”
