The TTXGP North America Championship electric motorcycle race events scheduled June 17-18 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and July 17-19 at Portland International Raceway have been postponed until 2012, according to a posting on egrandprix.com, the official website of TTXGP. The posting states the reason for the rescheduling is “to allow teams to focus on first GP round at Laguna Seca.” The Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, scheduled for July 22-24, will host the first combined TTXGP and FIM e-Power International event. The first FIM e-Power event of 2012, April 15 at Magny-Cours, in France, had three motorcycles start the race, and round two of the series, May 15 at Schleiz, in Germany, included two motorcycles entered by the same team. The first event of the TTXGP North America Championship, May 14-15 at Infineon Raceway, in California, had four motorcycles (representing two classes) run the first day and three motorcycles (again representing two classes) race on the second day.
