The AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines XR1200 class will race a doubleheader event during the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix August 26-28 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “We will race at Indianapolis on the MotoGP weekend on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday in the morning, two races there,” AMA Pro Racing C.O.O. and Managing Partner David Atlas said during rider’s meeting Friday at Road America. “The speedway has been kind enough to offer us the track for two days of testing the previous week on Thursday and Friday (August 18-19). So there will be a chance for those who are going to participate to familiarize themselves with the track.” Atlas went on to say that AMA Pro Racing and Vance & Hines would actively work to try and pair racers and Harley-Davidson dealers wanting to participate in that event in order to have the largest field possible.
