Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) kicks off at Brainerd International Raceway for round two of the 2011 season. The event will be held from May 29-30 at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota, on the challenging and technical Competition Course.
ZARS continues to attract riders and top racers from all across the Midwest and Canada. This exciting, fun-filled Track Day event will include the Shootout Series for licensed racers, Rider Challenge for recreational riders, Track School and the School of R.O.C.C for riders and racers. In an effort to support the Midwest racers, ZARS is offering a special rate online for a limited time for licensed racers for May 30.
The Shootout has a huge line up of top racers who will battle for the Championship and big cash prizes. The Shootout has posted another cash purse of $1000 for May 30 and will feature classes for both expert and novice. In the expert GP 1/2, Christian Schmidt is looking for his second win of the season, but will have to battle top challenger, Karl Rehpohl for the checkered flag. In the expert GP 3/4, Aaron Anderson, Nick Campbell and Kris Skellenger are the class favorites for the win and should be an exciting and fierce battle. In the Novice ranks, Cole Speer is looking to regain momentum and take the lead away from points leader in novice GP 3/4, Brett Folkerts.
Our next few rounds will be at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota, including June 26 on the Competition Course and July 17 on the Donnybrooke road course.
