April 26, 2011 Corona, CA – Husqvarna continues to staff up, this time adding Stefan Christman to the team. “We are pleased to announce that Stefan will join the Motorcycles Controlling Team based in BMW’s Woodcliff Lake headquarters,” says Tomas Valero-Ribes, Department Manager “” Controlling & Credit Management. For better economy of scale, Husqvarna has been combined with BMW’s staff as part of the newly restructured Motorcycles Controlling Team for both brands. Christman is a new hire for Husqvarna… he previously spent five years as a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young in Columbus, Ohio. Most recently he served as an Internal Audit Manager for Nationwide Insurance. In his new role, Stefan will primarily be responsible for the planning and target achievement for Husqvarna. He will focus on volume planning, sales allowances, overhead, headcount and overall profitability. The fact that he is fluent in both English and Italian should further facilitate communications between Husqvarna’s factory in Varese and Husqvarna North America. “Stefan will provide a full scope of controlling expertise and management support for Husqvarna,” adds Valero-Ribes. “He will serve as the key interface partner with Husqvarna HQ in Italy.”
