US SUPERKARTS JOIN CCS AND ASRA IN KANSAS THIS WEEKEND Motorcycle road racers and fans alike will have plenty to do and see this weekend. The best place to get in on all the action will be at the Annual “Heart of America CycleFest” at Heartland Park – Topeka Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24, 2011. “There’s something for everyone at this event.” said Kevin Elliott, CEO of the American SportBike Racing Association. “With the ASRA Michelin Pro Series, our Michelin Pro Team Challenge Endurance Series as well as Championship Cup Series Twin Sprints, there’ll be a frenzy of racing action for every type and size of bike. As an added attraction, the US SuperKarts’ high-speed go-karts will be a blast to watch. It’ll be a busy and exciting weekend for all.” The Michelin Pro Series points race is neck-in-neck after the events in March and April. With only one point separating the top 3 spots in the Michelin Team Challenge Overall points standings, this weekend’s racing at Heartland Park may well be the deciding factor. As the ASRA Michelin Pro Series riders take to the track for the second time in 2011, all points for Amateurs and Experts in SuperStock, SportBike and ThunderBike are still up for grabs. Gates are scheduled to open each morning at 7:00am.
