Launch of e-store Marks Growth of Run 1 Racing Motorsports ATLANTA (March 31, 2011) The launch of an e-store at www.run1racingmotorsports.com marks the beginning of an anticipated tremendous growth spurt for Run 1 Racing Motorsports, which has already announced plans to become one of largest privateer teams in AMA Pro Racing, by becoming “the biggest motorcycle parts and accessory store in the Southeast,” says CEO Monty Spears. “We want to be the place that everyday riders and privateer teams come to get their parts, accessories and apparel,” Spears says. “They know that we’re there to back them. We want to be the company that backs them with sponsorship and support. We understand their struggles. We are in the same financial fight they are in to compete round after round. As Run 1 Racing Motorsports grows, we will be pushing support down to bring the underdogs up.” While the e-store features more than 10,000 products, Run 1 Racing Motorsports will also do a custom search for specialty parts needed for both street and race bikes. With the e-store up and running and generating revenue that will be fed directly to the racing team Run1Racing can now concentrate on locating and opening a 40,000 square foot retail store and race shop in metro Atlanta. “The goal is a retail location that also offers motorcycle storage,” Spears says. “In addition, we will have the race team behind a glass wall so our customers and guests can watch the race team prepare the bikes between events. “Our location will be a gathering place for motorcycle clubs and a launching place for charity rides. We want everyone to feel welcome.” “With a month before the next race, all the revenue generated from the e-store will go to building the program. The goal is to get the race program fully funded and the rest of the revenue will go to building the Run 1 Racing brand. That will sustain us for the year and allow us to announce some other exciting programs.” Run 1 Racing AMA Pro Racing’s lineup includes Joey Pascarella aboard the #825 Yamaha YZF-R6 in the Daytona SportBike, Skip Salenius on the #63 Yamaha R1 in the National Guard Superbike, and Miles Thornton on the #72 Yamaha YZF-R6 and Antoine Richards on the #45 Suzuki GSX-R600 in SuperSport. The next AMA Pro Racing event is May 13-15 at Infineon Raceway in California. Daily special discounts available only on www.run1racingmotorsports.com will be announced on Facebook and Twitter.
