A backhoe operator in Silver Spring, Maryland severed the cables linking the 13x.com server to the Internet on Wednesday afternoon, cutting off access to the popular WERA BBS. The www.wera.com home site remained unaffected. When the BBS server may be back online was unknown at post time.
