The California State Championship road racing series is pleased to announce new class and series sponsors for 2011. Rich Oliver’s Mystery School has come aboard and is offering a two-day Mystery School package in several classes to the class champion, and a four-day Pro School to the overall State Champion. San Diego BMW has been added to the Open Production class, and is offering cash gift cards to the class winners for prizes. Guardian Commercial Realty has also come on board for the Open Twins class with cash prizes for the class winners as well. Roadracing World Magazine is offering a discount subscription – $10 for a year – to California State Championship license holders and members, subscription must be purchased through California State Championship. Series sponsors are: Dunlop, Rich Oliver’s Mystery School, Yamaha Champions Riding School, Leo Vince exhausts, Go Pro Cameras, Factory Body Works, SBK Paint.com, Woodcraft, San Diego BMW, Guardian Commercial Realty, Pilot Leathers, Driven, Galfer, Safari Cycle, GPR Stabilizers, Catalyst Reaction Suspension, CM Motorsports, Zero Gravity windscreens, Cycle Pirates, Uniform Speed, VP fuels, Vanderkitten, and RK Excel chains. Dunlop, Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Continental are offering bonus contingency at the end of the series for top finishers on their brands, Pilot and VP are also offering contingency, Crawford says. The first round is scheduled for the WERA West weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on April 23-24, 2011. Plans include the California State Championship Four Hour Endurance Challenge race on Saturday, April 23, with 3 classes: Heavyweight, Middleweight, and Lightweight. There will also be the California State Championship Ninja 250 Two Man Challenge scheduled to run on Saturday. Novices will be be allowed to team up with experts for these two races depending on their experience level, and will be reviewed by the race director. Dinner at the track following the endurance races is being planned as well and cost is approximately $12 per ticket for pasta, chicken, salad, dessert, and soda or water. There are two track days available that week as: Monday April 18 and Friday April 22 from Let’s Ride Track Days.
