A fund-raiser has been scheduled for March 6th to benefit CRA racer Bruce Magee, and will be held at Neisen’s Sports Bar and Grill in Savage, Minnesota. Magee was seriously injured in a street-riding crash last September, when an uninsured motorist turned left directly in front of him. Magee, who has undergone 11 reconstructive surgeries and faces additional operations, is already on the hook for more than $78,000 in medical co-payments. His girlfriend, Lori Marker, was riding on the back with him and suffered a broken arm and hip. Magee credits his Arai helmet and full racing gear with saving his life in the violent crash, in which his body slammed directly into the side of the SUV that turned in front of him. Passenger Lori Marker was flung over the SUV and landed in the street. The address for Neisen’s Sports Bar and Grill is 4851 W. 123rd St., in Savage. More information will be posted as it becomes available. A promotional flyer for the benefit is seen below. Click here to download a Benefit Flyer
