MSF Rider Coaches, Quality Assurance Manager Commended By California Highway Patrol

24 Rider Coaches and Quality Assurance Manager David Crouch Commended for Outstanding Service to the California Motorcyclist Safety Program IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 2, 2011 For the first time since the inception of the California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP), the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has awarded 24 MSF Rider Coaches with Certificates of Commendation for Exceptional Performance. Selected recipients were honored at the Annual CMSP Workshop series from over 500 Rider Coaches throughout the state based on MSF Rider Course student satisfaction survey results. After compiling data from a voluntary survey provided upon course completion, CHP CMSP Coordinator Shameil Coleman presented the Rider Coaches with awards at workshops in Sacramento, San Jose, San Diego and Valencia. RiderC oaches were commended for their professionalism and unwavering commitment to motorcycle safety. “Providing students with the most beneficial learning experience possible is the key goal behind the MSF curriculum,” said Robert Gladden, VP of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. “While the MSF holds all Rider Coaches to the highest standards and offers its own awards for exemplary service, the CHP created these additional awards based on the voice of the students to recognize the exceptionally positive impact of these Rider Coaches on those they teach, whether students are just learning to ride or are improving their riding skills.” Following are the 24 Rider Coaches who received a Certificate of Commendation: – Leonard Applebaum Newport Beach – Milo Benigio Costa Mesa – Lisa Brazieal San Pablo – Dale Croy San Ramon – Mike Dennison Imperial Beach – Bob Drummond Newbury Park – Vince Furio Upland – Alison Getty La Quinta – Roland Hoffmaster South Gate – Jim Jenkins Modesto – Sheri Kolb Woodland – Neal Looney South San Francisco – Joe Loza Fresno – Ian Martinez Salinas – Steve Mendoza Gold River – Eric Orr Sierra Madre – Joel Scolavino Camarillo – Colleen Sepulveda Santa Cruz – Jeff Stokes Suisun City – Don Vickstrom Lemoore – Mario Vindeni Pasadena – Deann Williams Arcata – Mark Wing Huntington Beach – Stephanie Woitas Gerber CMSP Quality Assurance Manager David Crouch received a special commendation for his strong leadership of the CMSP Quality Assurance team since 2007. Crouch’s commitment to consistently deliver the MSF curriculum at an optimum level throughout California, as well as his dedication to the Rider Coach Preparation training program, have contributed to the CMSP’s reliability and stability, read the commendation.
