John Ulrich Editor, Roadracing World and Owner, Team Hammer Racing John Ulrich is well known in the road racing community. His magazine, Roadracing World is a must read for road racing coverage and his race team is highly regarded in the paddock. This past year his rider Martin Cardenas won the Daytona Sportbike Championship, and his Superbike rider, John Hopkins finished on the podium at the end of the season. He was a former professional road racer (he still club races). He also serves on the AMA Board of Directors and was a former AMA Pro Racing Board member. He recently announced that his team will be fielding Dane Westby in Daytona Sportbike and Martin Cardenas and Chris Ulrich in AMA Superbike in 2011. ~https://www.roadracingworld.com~ ~http://www.teamhammer.com~ Jake Holden, Daytona Sportbike Racer Roberson Motorsports It was recently announced that Jake Holden will be riding for the Roberson Motorsports team in Daytona Sportbike on the Ducati 848 EVO. Holden did not have a fulltime ride in 2010 and filled in on the Monster Energy M4 Team for injured rider John Hopkins and rode the XR1200 with the Geico team. In the past, Holden has also ridden for the Michael Jorden team and the Corona team in the past in Superbike and Supersport. He finished third in the Superstock class in 2008. ~http://www.facebook.com/pages/Roberson-Motorsports/126266827427076~ Tim Cotter, Director of MX Sports Since 1999, Tim Cotter has served as Series Director for the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, coordinating up to 52 Qualifying tracks and 12 Regional Championship events each year for the Loretta Lynn event. This entails working closely with track owners and promoters providing them with the tools and technical assistance they need to produce successful events. As a professional announcer at both National Motocross and National Arenacross events, Cotter has forged alliances with key promoters and players in the industry. Most recently Tim has spearheaded the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross. ~http://www.mxsports.com~ Ryan Villipoto, 450 Supercross – Monster Energy Kawasaki Last year Ryan was running second in the Supercross series when a crash in St. Louis left him with a broken leg. Unfortunately it was serious enough that he was forced to watch from the sidelines the remainder of the Supercross season and the Outdoor Nationals. Apparently this gave him plenty of time to focus on the 2011 Supercross Championship and he showed up at A1 last Saturday night ready to win. He did just that and now he’s leading the series going into Round 2 that takes place this week in Phoenix at Chase Field. ~http://www.kawasaki.com/Racing_MotocrossRacing/RacingTeamMemberRT.aspx~ Cory Buttrick, GNCC Racer Muscle Milk KTM Team Cory Buttick was a strong contender in the GNCC XC1 class in 2010. His impressive results scored him a 4th overall in the series with five podium finishes and one victory. His only win was in front of a hometown crowd at the John Penton race in Millfield, Ohio. He is a seven-time GNCC Amateur Champion and ten-time District 11 champion. He has also raced in the International Six Day Enduro event. ~http://www.ktmusa.com~ Crew at Pit Pass Radio Scott Casber, Tony Wenck, Ed Kuhlenkamp, Jack DeLeon.
