Industry Veteran Garrett Kai Hired As Marketing Director Of Cycle World

January 5, 2011 “” Newport Beach, CA “” Cycle World, America’s leading motorcycle magazine, is pleased to announce the appointment of Garrett Kai to the position of Marketing Director. Kai, who previously held positions at American Suzuki Motor Corporation, Lockhart Phillips USA and Cobra Engineering, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his new role at Cycle World.

“Garrett will be an enormous asset to the Cycle World team,” said VP Integrated Sales/Marketing, Andy Leisner. “I’ve known and worked with him for 15 years and feel his marketing experience and knowledge of both the OEM and aftermarket segments of the motorcycle industry have given him exceptional skills that will help us market the Cycle World brand to our readers and customers.”

Kai will oversee the Cycle World marketing department and be responsible for all related activities. Additionally, he will work closely with the Cycle World advertising sales team developing programs to help our customers better market their products.

An avid sportbike rider and huge fan of all types of motorcycle racing, Kai also enjoys participating at track days and attending performance riding schools in Southern California. “I’m really excited to be a part of the Cycle World team,” said Kai. “I am confident that my knowledge of the industry, marketing skills and passion for motorcycles will allow me to contribute to the continued success of Cycle World in print and digital formats.”
