AMA Pro Racers Chris Ulrich and Elena Myers will be signing autographs at the Roadracing World booth during the Long Beach Progressive International Motorcycle Show, December 17-19, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. Chris Ulrich has won two AMA Pro National road races, has finished on AMA Pro National road race podiums nine times, has co-ridden to the overall WERA National Endurance Championship four times and was ranked eighth in 2010 AMA Pro Superbike points, despite missing races due to injuries. His GSX-R1000 two-seat Superbike will be on display at the Roadracing World booth all weekend; the bike is normally used to educate general interest media reporters about road racing and to raise money for the Roadracing World Action Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit which promotes the deployment of soft barriers at racetracks nationwide. Ulrich, who is also the Racing Editor of Roadracing World & Motorcycle Technology magazine, will be at the booth from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday; from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday; and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday to sign autographs. Myers, who recently turned 17, was the first woman to win an AMA Pro professional motorcycle road race earlier this year, and was ranked second in 2010 AMA Pro Supersport West points. Myers also writes a monthly column in Roadracing World. She will be at the Roadracing World booth all three days of the show; she will also be signing autographs at the American Suzuki display from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Myers will also be participating in a Women Racers panel discussion at the Women Ride booth starting at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Roadracing World booth will be featuring discounted subscriptions, stickers, free sample issues and specials on Roadracing World hats and T-shirts throughout the weekend. The Roadracing World booth will also be collecting donations for the Roadracing World Action Fund, and Peter Lenz memorabilia will be available to those who would like to donate to the Roadracing World Action Fund “In Rememberence Of Peter Lenz.” The Roadracing World booth will be open on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information about the Roadracing World Action Fund, which has provided every section of Airfence road racing soft barriers used by AMA Pro Racing, visit ~http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com/~.
