With the last day of testing at the Valencia circuit the 2010 MotoGP season officially ends. New Ducati Pramac Racing riders, Randy De Puniet and Loris Capirossi, have had the opportunity to discover in the first few kilometers with their new Ducati. Both riders had positive feelings even if the timings of these two days are more rewarding the French rider. Randy was quick from the early rounds while his teammate, Loris Capirossi, preferred to study some changes for next year. The MotoGP is now officially on vacation from the track and will return next 1st, 2nd and 3rd of February on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. Fabiano Sterlacchini – Technical Director “These two days have been very useful for us as this winter we can work on some solutions to be used in first tests of the new year. Loris is confident, he sees many areas for improvement and in the first test at Sepang in 2011 we will work with confidence on performance over a single lap. We are pleased with our new riders and we are sure that next year, the tenth in MotoGP for Pramac, we can take much satisfaction.” Randy De Puniet – Pramac Racing Team rider – 8th fastest time in 1’32.836 “Also today I really enjoyed my new bike. The Ducati, as I said yesterday, it seems very suited to my riding style and I am confident that the evolution of 2011 will be even better. The release of the power of the engine is very smooth and I have good handling entering turns and this allowed me to push with confidence since the first laps. I still have to improve my riding position when cornering because I am not yet in perfect harmony with the seating. The lap times are good and I think that the general impression of this first two days can be positive. A pity for the slip in the last exit: probably the rear tyre was still too cold and while trying to improve my best lap time I lost control of the rear and slipped in the first right-hand turn.I am anyway happy also because with the Team I found my self at ease straight away installing a good feeling and this can only help us for our adventure together.” TODAY’S BEST LAP TIMES 1. The new HRC addition, who reported a highly satisfying first ride on the RC212V the day before, was just 0.054s off Jorge Lorenzo’s day one effort, which remained the fastest of both days. Stoner, whose main focus of the Test was settling in on the Honda machine, did so in style as he improved by 0.709s on his previous day’s time and completed 62 laps throughout the second day as the majority of the riders tried to make up for the lost morning the day before due to wet conditions. Factory Yamaha rider Lorenzo, whose M1 was adorned with the number 1 in celebration of his 2010 title, set a best lap of 1’32.179 as he wrapped up his day just after 1pm local time having completed 30 turns of the Ricardo Tormo track. He rode both the new M1 and an updated version of his 2010 machine whilst new team-mate Ben Spies concentrated on chassis settings on his new 2011 bike. The American, who also ended his day early having ridden 49 laps, was just 0.143s behind his colleague as he completed the top three. Lorenzo said: “When you see the official Yamaha team bikes both going fast it’s good because it confirms the new bike is that little bit better, but we still have a lot of work to do before 2011 gets underway.” A brace of Honda riders followed in the order of lap times with San Carlo Gresini’s Marco Simoncelli and Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa completing the top five. The Italian who had a fall during the early part of the day which resulted in nothing more than an interruption ended with a total of 63 laps and a best time just under four-tenths of a second off Stoner’s. Pedrosa, who was working on the new evolution of the RC212V having ridden his 2010 machine for comparison purposes, was 0.431s off Stoner. Nicky Hayden was the fastest Ducati rider on track with a time of 1’32.583 as the Bologna factory contrasted the screamer and big bang engines, between which they will choose for development for the Desmosedici GP11. The American’s 91 laps was the highest total of the day. Meanwhile Rizla Suzuki’s Álvaro Bautista was seventh as he rode a GSV-R with a number of redesigned aspects, with Randy de Puniet (Pramac Racing) and Andrea Dovizioso (Repsol Honda) the last two riders to get within a second of Stoner. Hiroshi Aoyama (San Carlo Honda Gresini) was another rider operating with a new team as he set the tenth best time of the day, Héctor Barberá (Paginas Amarillas Aspar) improved significantly on his time ending in 11th, and Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Colin Edwards continued evaluating an updated M1 engine. His rookie team-mate Cal Crutchlow’s MotoGP experience developed further with another valuable day on track and 74 more laps. A trio of Ducatis followed on the timesheet with Loris Capirossi, Valentino Rossi and Karel Abraham. Factory man Rossi, ending in 15th position, concluded his second day on the Desmosedici having ridden a sizeable 87 laps as he combined the same engine agenda as team-mate Hayden with a continuation of his adjustment to the bike. He was 1.695s off Stoner’s leading time by the close of play at 5pm local time. Moto2 World Champion Toni Elías also completed his first Test with a new team, LCR Honda. The next Official MotoGP Test is scheduled to take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from February 1st-3rd 2011. More, from a press release issued by LCR Honda: ELIAS TO CONTINUE HIS ADAPTION TO LCR RCV Valencia, 10 November: Second and last day of testing at Ricardo Tormo circuit saw the premier class welcomed by improved track conditions in comparison to yesterday with Stoner posting the fastest time of the day. Teams and riders had a productive full day on track chasing the base set up ahead the 2011 season. LCR Honda MotoGP Team rider Toni Elias put in 86 laps of the 4.005km circuit concentrating his time on chassis set up and suspension regulations in order to gather further information for his new technical crew. The Spaniard took a step-by-step approach and posted the 17th lap time of the day continuing his adaptation to his new RCV. Toni and his squad will be back on track in February for the Official Winter Test in Sepang (Malaysia). Toni Elias 17th 1’34.800 Elias: “Today I feel a bit tired because this bike is physically demanding compared to the Moto2. In the winter break I will train more to reinforce my muscles. However today I felt more easy-going but I am still looking for the best base set up for me. My main issue was the bike balance so I could not push as I would like but I am not worried about it. I have got a lot of experience on these bikes and I know it takes time to adapt. The best way to improve my feeling on this machine is to work hard together with the Team”. More, from a press release issued by Yamaha Factory Racing Team: LORENZO AND SPIES WRAP UP SUCCESSFUL VALENCIA OFFICIAL MOTOGP TEST Day two of the Valencia test started under better conditions than yesterday, allowing Yamaha Factory Racing riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies a full morning’s riding in the Spanish sunshine. Both riders had completed their testing schedule by the lunchtime break, giving the Yamaha engineers enough data to work over the winter break for the first of the 2011 tests in Sepang at the end of January. Lorenzo gave a repeat performance of yesterday, moving quickly to the top of the timesheets and remaining the fastest rider of the day until the last hour, dropping to second position by just over one tenth of a second. Having completed all Yamaha testing requirements early on the 2010 MotoGP World Champion spent some time evaluating tyres for the next season before calling it a day at lunchtime. Lorenzo now heads home for some well-earned rest over the winter. Team-mate Spies was also ahead on his schedule for the test, putting some of yesterday’s data through it’s paces this morning with positive results. He then also spent some time evaluating tyres before wrapping up at lunchtime to draw his test time to a close. The American’s impressive speed on the 2011 prototype YZR-M1 bike saw him second fastest rider for the majority of the day behind his team-mate until the last hour, finishing the day third fastest. Spies now heads home to the USA for his winter holiday to recharge before the Sepang test in just under three months time. No.1 Jorge Lorenzo, 2nd (1’32.179, 30laps) “Basically we tried some new tyres from Bridgestone today, they had quite a different feeling, but there wasn’t a big difference in general performance. We also reconfirmed the settings we tried yesterday so we’ve given Yamaha some good data to work with over the winter. I’m very happy with how the test has gone; I’m quite tired so I’m looking forward to having some rest now and coming back strong to start again.” No11. Ben Spies, 3rd (1’32.322, 49laps) “We’ve had another good day and another day of learning. We messed with the bike a bit, changed some settings and went in a positive direction. So another good session working with the new crew again, I’m very happy with it. I read some comments from Jorge about the new engine for next year, he seemed to be happy with the way that was going so I look forward to seeing that in Malaysia. I’m looking forward to now having a couple of months of then getting back to it!” Ramon Forcada, Crew Chief for Jorge Lorenzo “Today we finished the testing plan we made. There weren’t so many things to try as we did a really good job yesterday. We finished the Yamaha test plan so this morning we evaluated some tyres and provided some good information to Bridgestone for their development. We’ve finished early as we tested everything we needed to and Jorge felt good about all the results. It’s been a long season and after the emotions of the last Grand Prix races it’s time to let him go and have a rest! The new bike has the same feeling as the 2010 machine but with improvements, allowing us to be faster and perform better in a number of areas.” Tom Houseworth, Crew Chief for Ben Spies “We tested the prototype again this morning, we collected the data from yesterday and following a meeting last night made some setting changes for today which we tested with very positive results. Once we had achieved these we went ahead and tested the Bridgestone tyres, testing three options, one of which Ben really liked a lot. The test has been very productive and very promising for the future on the new bike. Ben is really optimistic and looking forward to continuing at Sepang.” RESULTS 1 CASEY STONER (HONDA) 1’32.066 2 JORGE LORENZO (YAMAHA) 1’32.179 3 BEN SPIES (YAMAHA) 1’32.322 4 MARCO SIMONCELLI (HONDA) 1’32.450 5 DANI PEDROSA (HONDA) 1’32.497 6 NICKY HAYDEN (DUCATI) 1’32.583 7 ALVARO BAUTISTA (SUZUKI 1’32.738 8 RANDY DE PUNIET (DUCATI) 1’32.836 9 ANDREA DOVIZIOSO (HONDA) 1’32.942 10 HIROSHI AOYAMA (HONDA) 1’33.105 11 HECTOR BARBERA (DUCATI) 1’33.168 12 COLIN EDWARDS (YAMAHA) 1’33.325 13 CAL CRUTCHLOW (YAMAHA) 1’33.483 14 LORIS CAPIROSSI (DUCATI) 1’33.740 15 VALENTINO ROSSI (DUCATI) 1’33.761 16 KAREL ABRAHAM (DUCATI) 1’33.793 17 TONI ELIAS (HONDA) 1’34.800 More, from a press release issued by Rizla Suzuki: Constructive day for Rizla Suzuki as Bautista takes big steps The Rizla Suzuki squad and Álvaro Bautista have concluded the final day of testing at Valencia with a very encouraging result as Bautista recorded the seventh quickest time of the day. Bautista (1’32.738, 86 laps) took almost a second off his previous best lap-time from both the race weekend and yesterday’s testing, as he moved to just over half-of-a-second off the quickest time of the day. The Spaniard tested various chassis configurations and several settings, along with evaluating new bodywork for the Suzuki GSV-R and numerous other parts in a thorough and comprehensive test programme. The whole team got through a significant amount of work and with the information collected at this two-day test, the engineers back in Japan will certainly have plenty to work with during the winter months. Today’s weather was very similar to yesterday with strong winds and cold track temperatures making conditions very difficult. Casey Stoner on a Honda was the quickest rider on the timesheets, with World Champion Jorge Lorenzo in second, but Bautista certainly had them in his sights as he improved continuously throughout the day. Rizla Suzuki, Bautista and the rest of the MotoGP paddock will now face an enforced winter testing ban that begins on December 1st and ends on January 31st. The next test will be at Sepang in Malaysia in early February, with the 2011 season due to kick-off at Losail in Qatar on Sunday 20th March. Álvaro Bautista: “Today has been another good day because after testing the new forks yesterday and getting a good base setting, I was able to go straight out and improve my lap-time. We continued through the day to test other stuff and I tried a new frame with new specifications, and I quickly felt it was much better than the old one. That means that we have made a step forward and with it I was able to do my best time. At the end of the day I tested some new compound Bridgestone tyres, there were three different styles, but I didn’t feel much difference between them all. I am happy because the whole crew has done a good job today and I want to say thank-you to Suzuki because I think we made steps forward at this test and with the data from here I hope they can bring me some more new and better stuff from Japan for the test in February.” Paul Denning Team Manager: “It has been a very positive end to what has been a difficult season. We found a decent step forward yesterday compared to the race weekend and took more steps forward today. We have found something, based on today’s data at least, that may help Álvaro get the best out of the GSV-R on new tyres, which has been a weak point for us this year both in qualifying and in the first few laps of the races. We all know that he is a race-day guy and not a testing guy and that he always finds additional performance in the races themselves. So, for him to end up in seventh place and only 0.6 seconds from the fastest rider is a very positive result. “Thanks to everyone involved with the team throughout 2010, hopefully today’s test will enable the Factory to have some interesting material prepared for the test in February and we can continue to take the next step forward.” MotoGP Official Test Day Two Classification: 1. Casey Stoner (Honda) 1’32.066: 2. Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) +0.113: 3. Ben Spies (Yamaha) +0.256: 4. Marco Simoncelli (Honda) +0.384: 5. Dani Pedrosa (Honda) +0.431: 7. ÁLVARO BAUTISTA (RIZLA SUZUKI MOTOGP) +0.672: More, from a press release issued by Monster Yamaha Tech 3: Positive test for Edwards and Crutchlow in Valencia The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team concluded a successful two-day test session at the Valencia circuit today, Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow both satisfied with the start of their preparations for the 2011 MotoGP campaign. With no repeat of the rain that disrupted the opening day of action yesterday, the MotoGP field was able to take advantage of more favourable conditions today. A strong wind though meant conditions were still not perfect, but Edwards and Crutchlow were able to complete over 100 laps between them. Edwards carried out more development work on a revised chassis and engine package, the 36-year-old confirming the potential of the 2011 Yamaha YZR-M1 machine in a short 34-lap run. He was also able to further assess the performance of new Bridgestone rear tyres and set a best time of 1.33.325 to finish 12th on the timesheets. Crutchlow continued his impressive transition to MotoGP, the British rider spending the majority of his time concentrating on adapting his riding style rather than making big changes to the set-up of his YZR-M1 machine. Crutchlow made major progress in getting accustomed to the lighter and more powerful MotoGP machine and he finished ahead of nine-times world champion Valentino Rossi, Loris Capirossi and Toni Elias. His best time of 1.33.483 was only 0.2s slower than the best lap Ben Spies set during last weekend’s 30-lap race and the former World Supersport champion was less than a second away from the top six. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team now begins a thoroughly deserved winter break before the paddock r econvenes at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia in early February. Colin Edwards 12th 1.33.325 34 laps “I feel pretty tired now after six days of riding but this test has been very positive and we have gained a lot of good information about next year’s bike. I was able to confirm a few things we found out yesterday and the 2011 bike has a lot of potential. The chassis and engine are a definite step forward and we can look forward to next year with a lot of optimism. I want to thank my Monster Yamaha Tech 3 crew for their fantastic effort and support again this year. I’m now looking forward to the winter break, spending a bit of time relaxing before training hard and getting ready for 2011 when we get back on the bike at Sepang in early February.” Cal Crutchlow 1.33.483 74 laps “I am really happy with the way today went. To finish with a consistent pace and feeling much more comfortable on the bike, I am already excited about being back on track in Malaysia. Obviously I’ve got so much to learn and I’d say the biggest challenge is learning how hard you can push the Bridgestone tyres. They are completely different to what I am used to but I am making progress, pushing without taking too many risks at this stage. There’s no doubt that the pace in MotoGP is unbelievable and you have to push to your maximum on every single lap. To be less than 1.5s off Stoner at my first proper test is a real boost for my confidence and I was able to do a lot of laps in the 1.33 bracket, which was race pace last weekend. I feel really at home in the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team and together I think we can look forward to a positive 2011.” More, from a press release issued by Repsol Honda: REPSOL HONDA TEAM MAKES STRONG FINISH TO 2010 The Repsol Honda Team wrapped up its 2010 season today with a positive second day of testing at the scene of Sunday’s Grand Prix of Valencia. Casey Stoner, who joins the team for 2011, finished the day with the fastest time to complete an impressive debut test for the 25-year-old Australian. Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso also made good progress today, with Pedrosa just 0.4s behind Stoner, and Dovizioso – who was suffering from a fever – 0.8s back. It was a confident display from Stoner on only his second day aboard the Honda RC212V, made possible after Ducati graciously granted him permission to take part in this test. The Australian 2007 World Champion completed 63 laps of the Valencia circuit and also got his first taste of the 2011 prototype Honda, which is an evolution of the 2010 race bike. Stoner finished the day impressed with the power delivery of the machine and declared himself confident there is more performance to come as he gains familiarity at the forthcoming pre-season tests beginning in February next year. Pedrosa also spent further time testing the 2011 prototype which incorporates modifications designed to further improve the performance of the RC212V he and Dovizioso campaigned this year. The 25-year-old Spaniard reported an improvement in stability under braking and, from his 48 laps – the fastest of which was on his very last circulation – he has provided Honda’s engineers with a lot feedback which will be used over the winter for development. Pedrosa was still suffering some lack of strength in the left should he damaged in October and will undergo more hospital tests tomorrow to determine if any further medical intervention is required to speed his recovery. Dovizioso continued his chassis and electronics testing programme and increased his pace from yesterday, although the 24-year-old Italian was hindered slightly with a fever he picked up overnight. In spite of this, he completed valuable laps testing a modified chassis as well as evaluating the latest evolution Ohlins suspension – with positive results. Feeling less than 100 per cent in the afternoon, Dovizioso was prevented from going for an all-out lap time but, like his Repsol Honda team-mates, he was pleased with the two days and goes into the winter break looking forward to the pre-season tests in Sepang, Malaysia, starting at the beginning of February. Dani Pedrosa “The test was positive because, even if I couldn’t do long runs due to my physical condition, my lap times were quite good and I could get a clear idea about what we liked and what we need to change to make a step forward. We tested the new prototype machine again and it has some good points that can help us to move forward and also some other areas I didn’t like so much, but it’s not a completely different bike and this is what I asked for, so I’m happy about that. This test was planned to work basically on the chassis and engine; we improved the braking – the bike is more stable – but the engine is still too aggressive from my point of view. We are looking forward to the Sepang test where we can put all the things we liked together, and also do some testing with the new suspension that I haven’t tried yet, with the target of achieving better grip and braking power. I also tested two different spec Bridgestone tyres and they worked well. In general I’m satisfied with the work we have done because I’ve been suffering a lot during the whole weekend with my shoulder, but in spite of this I could give good information to the team for the next test in February. Tomorrow I will go to the doctor again to have a CAT scan, an MRI scan and vascular tests to find out what’s wrong with my shoulder. I don’t know yet if I will need more surgery, but if it’s necessary I will do it.” Andrea Dovizioso “I’m happy with the material that Honda brought here and today we worked on the electronics, such as traction control and engine braking, and we made some decent progress. Honda brought a lot of new material here, so we shared the work among the factory riders and I focused on testing electronics controls, although I also tested a slightly different chassis. We also tested the new suspension from Ohlins – the next evolution of the items we tested in Brno in August. They worked well and I had a positive feeling with them. We still need to improve the stability under braking and this is an area we will continue to focus on for next year. This morning I woke up with a fever and this complicated the day. Fortunately this morning I was feeling ok so I tested everything that was scheduled. In the afternoon it became much harder because of the fever though. I’m not so happy with the final lap time, and this is not the best way to finish things before the winter break, but with the fever I couldn’t do better. Overall though this was a positive test in terms of the work we got through.” Official Lap Times 1 Casey Stoner (Repsol Honda Team) 1:32.066, 63 laps 2 Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) 1:32.179, 30 laps 3 Ben Spies (Yamaha Factory Racing) 1:32.322 49 laps 4 Marco Simoncelli (San Carlo Honda Gresini) 1:32.450, 63 laps 5 Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) 1:32.497, 48 laps 6 Nicky Hayden (Ducati Team) 1:32.583, 91 laps 7 Alvaro Bautista (Rizla Suzuki) 1:32.738, 86 laps 8 Randy De Puniet (Pramac Racing Team) 1:32.836, 73 laps 9 Andrea Dovizioso (Repsol Honda Team) 1:32.942, 68 laps 10 Hiroshi Aoyama San Carlo Honda Gresini 1:33.105, 83 laps 11 Hector Barbera Paginas Amarillas Aspar 1:33.168, 100 laps 12 Colin Edwards (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) 1:33.325, 34 laps 13 Cal Crutchlow (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) 1:33.483, 74 laps 14 Loris Capirossi (Pramac Racing Team) 1:33.740, 88 laps 15 Valentino Rossi (Ducati Team) 1:33.761, 70 laps 16 Karel Abraham (Cardion AB Motoracing) 1:33.793, 68 laps 17 Toni Elias (LCR Honda MotoGP) 1:34.800, 86 laps More, from a press release issued by Bridgestone: Bridgestone complete two days of valuable developmental tyre testing Official test: Valencia post-race test Valencia, Tuesday 9 Wednesday 10 November 2010 Bridgestone slick compounds available: Front: Soft, Medium. Rear: Medium, Hard (both asymmetric) The traditional two-day post-race test at Valencia proved a valuable opportunity for Bridgestone to continue with its fundamental tyre development programme and four test items were prepared for each of the 17 MotoGP riders. The test items offered by Bridgestone were one developmental front tyre compound, two developmental rear tyre compounds and one developmental rear tyre construction, each of which was given valuable track time by almost all riders during the two days, despite their own busy test programmes. Testing schedules were delayed on the opening day of the test due to early morning rain showers that left the track greasy, but in the afternoon Colin Edwards embarked upon an exhaustive tyre test with the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team. Conditions on the second day were much improved, and with crucial track time under their belts almost all of the teams and riders tested the four new tyre specs. The results of this test will allow Bridgestone to determine the direction of future tyre development. Tohru Ubukata Manager, Bridgestone Motorcycle Tyre Development Department “This test was very valuable for us as we were able to obtain a great deal of data from our four developmental specs thanks to the support of the teams and the riders. During this test the teams and riders had intensive test programmes of their own but they dedicated time to our tyre test programme so I am very grateful to them for this. Our test programme of one front and three rear slick tyre specs is a fundamental study for our future tyre development and we obtained a lot of positive feedback and very promising data from these two days. From these results we can now start our new development strategy for the future. This test marks the end of field activity for 2010, and I want to thank all the teams and riders once more for their support of Bridgestone and our tyre testing not only these last two days but throughout the season.” Overall fastest laptimes (combined from both days all times from Wed unless marked) Pos Rider Team Fastest lap Gap 1 Jorge Lorenzo Fiat Yamaha Team 1m32.012s (Tue) 2 Casey Stoner HRC 1m32.066s +0.054s 3 Ben Spies Fiat Yamaha Team 1m32.322s +0.310s 4 Marco Simoncelli San Carlo Honda Gresini 1m32.497s +0.485s 5 Dani Pedrosa Repsol Honda Team 1m32.497s +0.485s 6 Nicky Hayden Ducati Team 1m32.583s +0.571s 7 Alvaro Bautista Rizla Suzuki MotoGP 1m32.738s +0.726s 8 Randy de Puniet Pramac Racing 1m32.836s +0.824s 9 Andrea Dovizioso Repsol Honda Team 1m32.912s +0.900s 10 Hiroshi Aoyama San Carlo Honda Gresini 1m33.105s +1.093s 11 Hector Barbera Paginas Amarillas Aspar 1m33.168s +1.156s 12 Colin Edwards Monster Yamaha Tech3 1m33.325s +1.313s 13 Cal Crutchlow Monster Yamaha Tech3 1m33.483s +1.471s 14 Loris Capirossi Pramac Ducati 1m33.740s +1.728s 15 Valentino Rossi Ducati Team 1m33.761s +1.749s 16 Karel Abraham Cardion AB Ducati 1m33.793s +1.781s 17 Toni Elias LCR Honda 1m34.800s +2.788s Weather: Wet start Tuesday then dry for remainder. Rossi worked closely together with Filippo Preziosi on the setting of the GP11 machine with the big bang engine configuration, completing 70 laps. His detailed feedback and the data gathered over the past two days will help the Ducati engineers develop the GP11 and adapt it more to the riding style of the nine-time World Champion. Nicky Hayden spent a lot of time out on track today, completing 91 laps throughout the session and testing both the screamer and big bang versions of the engine, setting his best time on the latter version and ending up sixth fastest overall. The American was able to improve his pace from the weekend and was satisfied with the job done. NICKY HAYDEN (Ducati Marlboro Team) 6th fastest – 1:32’583 “That’s it the season is finally over! Today was a positive day for us. We tried the screamer and it wasn’t easy to switch between engines but it was important to do a proper test on them both and get the data we need to make an important decision. I am leaning towards sticking with the big bang but we will make the decision together. In general I am happy because we have been pretty quick. We know there is a lot of work to do but we are ready to get on with it. We tried a new Bridgestone, which I liked a lot and actually I did my fastest time on it. I also went well on the race tyre we used on Sunday and we were just a couple of tenths off my best. We tested some other things that I liked but we need to test them more. I want to thank everybody in the team because they did a great job as always even though it wasn’t easy, coming on the back of two races.” FILIPPO PREZIOSI, Direttore Generale Ducati Corse “After these two days of tests we will go back to Ducati for a meeting, where we will decide which path to take between the two engines, the big bang and the screamer, although the information we have is pointing towards the former.
