KWS Motorsports Supports The Troops With Help From Motion Pro.

Braselton, GA October, 2010 After a three-month tour in Afghanistan with the US Army, KWS Motorsports sponsored rider Luie Zendejas was able to come home to score four top five finishes in his first expert appearance at the WERA Grand National Finals with the support from Motion Pro.

Luie Zendejas is an eighteen year veteran of the US Army and is currently stationed at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. In April of 2010 his unit was called up to do a tour in Afghanistan as part of the latest surge in US military presence in the war-torn country. Zendejas was in the middle of his first year as a WERA expert on a KWS Motorsports built Suzuki GSX-R1000 and desperately wanted to come back in time to attend the last race of the season.

“KWS Motorsports has always been a big supporter of the armed forces as many of our crew are either ex-military or come from military families” said ex-US Navy gunners mate and KWS Motorsports owner Kevin Hunt. “When we heard that Luie was going to be able to make it back in time for the GNF we reached out to our friends at to see if we could put together a little program for him.”

Luie Zendejas “I can’t thank KWS Motorsports, Motion Pro, Ballistic Performance Components and Millennium Technologies enough for all their help! KWS Motorsports built me a great bike and then sent Michael Godin to the GNF to help me out all week. This was my first experience working in a team structure and having Michael there to give me direction and to help with set up was invaluable. This was my first time at the GNF as an expert and I am looking forward to coming back next year and competing for race wins and championships!”

Chip Spalding (Team Manager) “This has been a tough year for everybody in the motorcycle industry, but it is nothing compared to what our friends in uniform go through on a daily basis in places like Afghanistan. When Chris Van Andel at Motion Pro heard about Luie and our efforts to support him at the GNF, he didn’t hesitate for a moment to pitch in and make it happen. There are a lot of companies that say they support the troops, but Motion Pro really does!”

KWS Motorsports would also like to say thanks and congratulations to long time KWS Sponsored riders Scott Carpenter (2010 Senior Superbike Champion) and Trey Yonce (2010 Lightweight Twins Superstock Champion) for another great year!
