Pacific Junction, IA Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days will hold its season finale on October 10, 2010, at Mid-America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, Iowa. The Track Day Event is being presented by Heinen’s Yamaha and will host the season finale Shootout Race of the series. The Shootout will be presented by Worldwide Machining and Welding, Inc., and will include a 5-lap sprint with a cash purse in total of $1000. In all of the Shootout Class Championships, titles are up for grabs as riders battle for top finishes at the finale. Young gun, Cole Speer has a sizeable lead in points with big expectations of taking the championship for GP 1/2 Novice class. The Shootout out also attracted many top Midwest racers, including Shane Keaveny, Aaron Anderson and Scott Stall. “We’re excited to host our first event at Mid-America Motorplex. I enjoyed the many years I raced here and thrilled to return to provide a top notch Track Day and action packed Shootout,” stated Jessica Zalusky. Festivities begin on the evening of October 9 and riding and racing will begin at 9am on October 10. Spectators are welcome and will be provided with complimentary admission and camping and street riders will have an opportunity to partake in a complimentary “Try the Track” experience on the road course itself and much more!
