Dainese’s D-Store Orange County has come up with a fun way to do something good for your neighborhood. The D-Store is participating in the Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby, a charity event benefiting the Orange County Children’s Bureau, an organization dedicated to preventing child abuse by offering myriad treatment and prevention services for local families. The Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby will be held Sunday Oct. 3, 2010 at Wild Rivers Water Park in Irvine. Participants can sponsor a duck in the race across the Lazy River, with many prizes including a new Nissan Versa and a chance to win one million dollars. D-Store visitors can help by donating one dollar before Oct. 3, to help support the D-Store’s racing “Duc” number 46. The D-Store has set up a special collection box, with all proceeds going to the Children’s Bureau. D-Store Duc supporters will also be entered into a raffle to win a Dainese Street Tee Shirt in their choice of color and size. You are also encouraged to sponsor a duck of your own, and compete against #46, by registering at duckyderbyoc.com. The D-Store Orange County is Dainese’s premiere showroom in Southern California, located at 1645 Superior Ave. in Costa Mesa. For more information call (949) 650-2300 or visit www.dainese.com.
