Webb, 64 More, from a press release issued by Interwetten Honda: set up problems and no points for Schrötter The Gran Premio Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini finished not as satisfying as it started for Marcel Schrötter and the Interwetten Honda 125 Team. Unfortunately Schrötter will not be able to take home any championship points today as he finished the race on 17th place. At the beginning of the race the 17 year old could stay with his competitors, but had difficulties to handle the bike. Since the practice crash of yesterday nothing is working properly anymore with the bike and problems with the set up did not make it any better for Schrötter. He could not improve his performance on a circuit where he finished the race of the Italian championship on top last year. Marcel Schrötter, 17 40’01.708: “I could stay with the group at the beginning, was riding alone and got overtaken then. I could not find an ideal line and we had set up problems. Since the crash yesterday nothing worked as before anymore. At the practice before the crash I was confident that I could take some points home with me today.” Terrell Thien, Team Manager: “We had problems with the settings of the bike. You cannot earn a good result if technical-wise you have to deal with problems.”
