Jasper Hankey, 2:25.984 More, from a press release issued by USGPRU: Gerloff tops Lewis in Moriwaki MD250H Powered by Honda Free Practice Indianapolis, IN – 27 Aug 2010: After several weeks of waiting, the Moriwaki MD250H Powered by Honda riders finally had their first taste of the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course with the first free practice session of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix weekend. Garrett Gerloff, Jake Lewis, Nick McFadden and Stefano Mesa all took a turn at leading the session times, but it was Gerloff on top at the end with a 2:01.524 lap time. Lewis ended up 1.122 seconds behind at the end, with a gap of two seconds back to McFadden and Mesa. Austin Medrano lead a tight group of eight riders all on the same second in the 2:05s, while Cody Sousa-Saints lead another tight pack in the field of 24 riders. Rev’It!
