There has only ever been one AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion in the history of the Universe, and Danny Eslick aims to keep it that way. He took another win at Mid-Ohio in his quest to retain his DSB crown. Conspiracy theorists who claimed Eslick was a second-rate rider who was only able to win in 2009 because he rode an overdog Buell 1125R, have not yet explained how Eslick has managed to win in 2010 on a Suzuki GSX-R600. Maybe the GSX-R600 is an overdog, too? Or maybe, just maybe, Danny Eslick is a worthy Champion who is just that good, no matter what he’s on.
