His motorcycle school is possibly one of the best known road riding schools in the country. The school is based at Barber Motorsports Park where after students’ are done riding they can take in one of the finest motorcycle collections in the country. Kevin takes students through the steps of becoming safer and stronger riders on the street and the track. For the second year he will be hosting a school at the prestigious Indy MotoGP event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. www.schwantzschool.com Kris Turner, Daytona Sportbike Racer – Turner’s Cycle Kris Turner is a SEMRA GP85 winner and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup racer. Kris was one of only 16 Americans selected for the very prestigious Red Bull race series. He is now racing in the AMA Pro Series in the Daytona Sportbike class. He is currently in 17th place overall after racing only select races on the circuit. Recently named one of the top six road courses in America by Car & Driver Magazine, VIR is possibly one of the most scenic tracks on the AMA Superbike circuit. The superbike event at VIR was formerly known as the Big Kahuna but this year the track took over promotion of the event and changed the name to the White Lightning Superbike Nationals – Faster Than The Law Allows to celebrate the southern history associated with racing. The event has tons of entertainment planned for their race August 13 – 15 in addition to the amazing bike racing where fans can see everything from superbikes to Harley XR1200’s and electric motorcycles. www.virnow.com Tyla (Ratters) Rattray, Pro Motocross Lites Racer – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Hailing from South Africa, Tyla was the 2008 MX2 World Champion. Now living in America, Rattray is showing he has what it takes to run at the front in the Lucas Oil Outdoor Lites Championship. This past weekend at Washougal he finished 4th in moto 1 and 3rd in moto 2 for a 3rd overall. After Round 8 of the series, Rattray sits in 3rd place overall, with four races to go. From the looks of things we are only just beginning to see what the Ratters is capable of doing with his dogged determination and his spirit of a true fighter. www.stylamx.com Doug Henry, Pro Motocross, Supermoto, Snowmobile Racer, Motorcycle Hall of Famer Doug Henry is one of the true hero’s in American motorcycling. No matter what sport he applies himself to his approach is always the same – give it all you got and never quit. That is why he has so many victories and successes to his name. Most recently he won the Bronze medal at the 2010 Winter X Games in Snocross.
