Norwalk, CA – Two-time AMA Champion Jason Pridmore’s STAR Motorcycle School has added a school at Heartland Park Topeka on September 23rd, debuted its 1 on 1 School, and is pleased to welcome AMA Pro Racer Chris Ulrich to its staff of professional instructors. “We’re very close to announcing a new safety and instructional program with the Army National Guard, with dates at Heartland Park Topeka”, said Pridmore. “Since we will already be there for those schools in September, it seemed obvious to add a day for the ‘civilians’. HPT is a great teaching track, and with the improvements they’ve made there in the past few years I can’t wait to go back. It’s a one day event on September 23rd. “STAR launched our new 1 on 1 program last week at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. We took our already popular Pro School and cut the enrollment in half – 10 students. It gives me an opportunity to spend more individual time with each student. With the video feedback and data analysis the students were really happy. I can’t wait for the next one. “I’d been working with Chris Ulrich a bit at the races and I really like his work ethic. In 2009 he asked me if he could come to a two day school. He rode one of our rental Suzuki SV650s, went to every classroom, and did all the drills he essentially did the hard work. He’s been back since then, with the same dedication. Chris is a great addition to our staff of professional instructors.” “Athletes have a coach in most every other sport on the planet, but having a coach in motorcycle road racing is not common practice”, added Ulrich. “After a tough season, I took Jason up on his offer to help improve my technique. I saw improvement after the first school I attended and with Jason’s input, I was able to continue to improve during the remaining races of the 2009 AMA Superbike. “Now half way through the 2010 racing season, I continue to improve and refine my technique using Jason’s input. I am experiencing my best AMA Superbike season ever and owe a lot to continually working to improve and refine my riding skills. I’m looking forward to working with the students and staff at STAR.” For additional information call (562)802-7061, [email protected] and visit us at www.starmotorcycle.com
