Motoyard.com will be trying something new for the one year anniversary of their track day organization this July running a track day at night! Motoyard.com is new to the track day scene in Southern California and one thing Motoyard.com does not lack is original ideas. First the “Double track day”, where you can switch between two tracks at Willow Springs on the same day, and now a Track Night! The first trial Track Night event will be held in the first part of July, with the date to be determined in the coming week. Check Motoyard.com for updates on all the details on how this event will be done. “We thought how can we enjoy the track in that summer heat? And while watching the Qatar MotoGP, thought, why can’t we just put up lights and run it at night, when the weather is not so punishing!”, says Greg Nulman, the owner of Motoyard.com Track Days. “We sat down with the owners of Willow Springs and discussed plans for this in early 2010, and they thought it was a great idea as well. We always try to come up with new and exciting ideas, because track days around SoCal have got so boring with the same thing done over and over for years, and what’s more innovative than a track day done at night.”, adds Greg. Motoyard.com, an online store where you can get everything for your track day or racing needs, started hosting track day events in June 2009. With its success owed to the dedicated and experienced staff, Motoyard.com Track Days is fast becoming the most popular track day organization in Southern California. Most events are held at Willow Springs Raceway and Streets of Willow, with several WSMC Fridays on the calendar, as well as some events at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.
