As for the favorites in the 87th Loudon Classic, you only have to look at the past few years results to see that four names stand out from the rest. First on the list has to be multi-time Michelin Pro Series National Champion and former Loudon Classic Champion Jeff Wood of Winchendon MA who missed the 2009 contest because of injury. Next up are the two men who battled for the win in Wood’s absence, 2009 Loudon Classic Champion, Shane Narbonne from Tyngsboro MA and last year’s runner-up Scott Greenwood from Dunbarton NH. The other rider to watch will be Eric Wood of Ashburnham MA, brother of Jeff Wood, whose racing career has featured too many wins on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway road course to count. While these four men may be among the favorites, there will be plenty of competition for the 2010 Loudon Classic Championship.
