Toronto, ON (May 20th ) – The Competition Systems Kawasaki Racing Team with rider Alex Welsh just completed 3 days of testing at the Calabogie Motorsports Park in conjunction with the Turn2 organization. “We are more than pleased with the improvements we have made to our championship winning bikes over the winter months,” said team owner Mike Crompton . “The new Öhlins suspension components received over the winter have provided improved cornering ability as well as enhancing stability . Continuous development on the dyno, along with upgraded electronics have also made it much easier to control the power delivery. According to Alex ” It still has all of the power of a superbike but now has the manners and feel of our 600’s, I feel much more confident with the improvements.” The new Pirelli tires for 2010 were also impressive right off the truck. ” Pirelli continues to supply us with an excellent product to work with. It’s one less thing to worry about .” said Mike. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Canadian Kawasaki Motors, Parts Canada, Noco, Akrapovic Exhaust Systems, Dynojet, Motul, DID, Vortex, Zero Gravity, and Pirelli for their continuing support . We would like to also add a big thanks to Gerard Palmer, George Budacki, Mike Whitter and all the great staff at Turn2 for letting us participate in their first event to kick off our season.
