Today Is The Last Day To Register For The Lucas Oil Superbike Challenge At Miller Motorsports Park

(Tooele, UT) Today is the last day to register for the Lucas Oil Superbike Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park during WSBK weekend. Registration closes today Friday, May 14 at midnight for the Lucas Oils Superbike Challenge. To register log on to www.superbikechallenge.com or call Warren Rose at 720-810-2785. With $40k in purse money up for grabs, the 2010 Lucas Oils Superbike Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park is drawing top-level national racing talent. Registration is capped at 50 and grids are limited to 40 racers for the GTU and GTO classes, with nearly unlimited bike modifications allowed. Registration also gets each racer and a crewmember paddock passes for the FIM Superbike World Championship Utah USA Round presented by HANNspree Memorial Day weekend, May 29-31. Racers will run Miller’s Perimeter course, with practice, qualifying and racing in front of the large FIM Superbike World Championship crowd. The Lucas Oil Superbike Challenge, which is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and operated by the Utah SportBike Association (USBA), will be comprised of two USBA classes, GTO and GTU, each of which will have a separate 30-minute race. A total purse of $40,000 is being offered for the two races. The GTO race will pay $6000 to win, with $4000 for second, $3500 for third, $2500 for fourth and $1800 for fifth, paying down to $200 each for 12th through 16th. The GTU race will pay $5000 to win, with $3000 for second, $2500 for third, $1500 for fourth and $1000 for fifth, paying down to $200 each for 11th through 16th.
