Attack Performance is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Cycle World magazine, Yoshimura Racing and American Suzuki to build a GSX-R1000-based project bike for returning fan-favorite Eric Bostrom to compete in select rounds of the AMA Pro National Guard American SuperBike series. The effort will kick off July 23-25 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix weekend. Follow-on appearances are scheduled for August 13-15 at Virginia International Raceway and September 24-26 at Barber Motorsports Park. Attack’s brand-new Tuning Center in Huntington Beach, California, will equip the project GSX-R with its billet adjustable-offset triple-clamps, clip-on handlebars, adjustable foot controls, lift mounts, RaceBodies composite-fiberglass bodywork and other specialized technology. Brembo, Dunlop, Ohlins USA and Marchesini will further support the effort, along with long-time Attack Racing sponsors LeoVince USA, Maxima Racing Oils and EK Chains. Bostrom, 33, is a four-time AMA national champion. He has won 15 AMA Superbike races and twice finished second in the series. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be involved with this project,” he said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity all the way around.
