AMA Pro SuperSport Road Atlanta Preview DAYTONA BEACH, FL (April 9, 2010) – On paper, it would seem that the AMA Pro SuperSport series is being dominated by one rider. But a closer look tells a story of how incredibly competitive this series for up-and-coming riders really is. At the season opener at Daytona, any number of riders could have won the first race and it was Rockwall Racing Yamaha rider Cameron Beaubier who emerged from the frantic pack of riders at the front to take the checkered flag by 0.001 of a second over Pascarella. Pascarella did win the second race in Daytona and then very convincingly swept both races at the Auto Club Speedway in March where Beaubier and a number of other East Division SuperSport competitors didn’t compete. The AMA Pro Racing SuperSport class is the proving ground for the stars of tomorrow and this year the talent on display is considerable. Along with Pascarella and Beaubier, newcomers Huntley Nash and Tomas Puerta join Pascarella at LTD Racing riding Yamahas. Nash rode extremely well at Auto Club Speedway to take a third and then a second place on his first visit to the California track and Tomas took a third and fifth at Daytona. J.D. Daniel Guevara, riding the Roadracingworld.com Suzuki had two solid top ten runs at Daytona and he is ready for the challenging Road Atlanta permanent road course track.
