This is not a joke. The Roadkill Racers, a sidecar team with the SRA-West, has teamed up with The Roadkill Cafe on Historic Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona. This sponsorship deal is an effort to promote the tourist industry in which racing is very much a part of in the travels required by all teams. The Roadkill Cafe and its moniker “You kill it, We grill it” offers a unique dining experience with menu items of the likes of Deer Delectables, Bad Brake Steak, Fender Tenders along with the classics Swirl of Squirrel, Highway Hash and the Splatter Platter. Seligman, Arizona is located approximately 75 miles west of Flagstaff and 175 miles south east of Las Vegas, Nevada. So if you are traveling north/south or east/west drop by and say Hi to Heather. RoadKill Racers Sean Bakken is the owner and driver of the RoadKill Racers sidecar #101 located in Lancaster, California. Passenger Roger Preston is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and is a volunteer race official with AHRMA and WERA. The Bike is an F1 built in New Zealand by Spyke Taylor and powered by a Yamaha YZF-R1 fuel-injected 1000cc engine. Bakken has been sidecar racing since 1992 as a builder and passenger and is the current Vice President of the SRA-West (Sidecar Racers Association West Inc).
