Lee Acree jumps into the WERA Superbike ring aboard a Honda CBR1000RR at Round 2 of the National Challenge Series this weekend. Private support from bike owner Steve Kirkbaumer and contributor Dr. Michael Moore merge with an impressive list of industry sponsors to get Lee on track. “I am so pumped about the challenge of chasing this championship on a new bike,” Acree said. “After missing Roebling Road we have a tough battle ahead starting a round behind in points,” he continued, “but with the incredible support I have received I am confident we will be in the hunt by the season finale at Road Atlanta. This is gonna be an exciting ride!” New partners Carbone Lorraine, Held, Hotbodies Racing, KWS Motorsports, LeoVince, Millennium Technologies, Ohlins, Pit Bull, Spiegler, and Woodcraft join returning sponsors Arai, Dunlop, Sidi, and The Kevin Schwantz School. Rocky Stargel will add additional technical support. “A huge thanks to all my sponsors and supporters,” Acree exclaimed. “Without every one of these contributions this simply couldn’t happen!” Catch up with Lee at the WERA National Challenge Series or ride with him at The Kevin Schwantz School this year!
